social bodies of APOCEAN

2022-06-17 (IPMA)

On June 7th, 2022, the social bodies of APOCEAN were elected at the General Assembly. The unique list was elected by majority with one abstention. The Executive Officer for the next triennium consists of three IPMA oceanographers, namely A. Miguel Piecho-Santos (President), Rita Pires (Secretary) and Emília Salgueiro (Treasurer). APOCEAN is a non -profit society aiming at "disseminating knowledge, promoting research and stimulating education; providing communication between oceanographers (and); gathering associates in order to allow the discussion and elaboration of (consensus) between all disciplines in the field of oceanography "
