Death of the former Director of Geodynamics Institute of Athens National Observatory

Georgios Stavrakakis, former Director of the Institute of Geodynamics of the National Observatory of Athens (IG / NOA), died of prolonged illness.
In his curriculum should highlight a notable work in the service of science and research in the field of seismology, having had great merit in the unification of the Greek seismic networks. By Greek colleagues will always be remembered as the Director of Geodynamics Institute of NOA.
