Miguel Santos is the new president

The Coordinating Researcher of the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and the Atmosphere, I.P. (IPMA), Miguel Santos, is the new President of EMSO Portugal (EMSO-PT), with the new Vice-President being the Researcher from the D. Luís Institute (IDL), Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL), Carlos Corela.

EMSO-PT is the organization that coordinates the activities of the observatories, infrastructures and laboratories established in Portugal of the European Multidisciplinary Seafloor and Water Column Observatory - European Research Infrastructure Consortium (EMSO-ERIC). It is a research infrastructure included in the National Roadmap of Research Infrastructures (RNIE) and has being played an active role in the context of this important European scientific infrastructure, with the obligation to maintain, until now, the EMSO Observatory of the Iberian Margin.
