IPMA announces the 1st Workshop in Portugal of the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) National Collaboration Programme (NCP), ‘C3S NCP Portugal’, which will take place on 29 October 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at IPMA Headquarters (Airport), in Lisbon.
The Copernicus Programme is led in Portugal by IPMA and +ATLANTIC (Collaborative Laboratory for the Atlantic Ocean) in collaboration with C3S.
This launch workshop, ‘C3S NCP Portugal’, will present the programme's objectives, practical use cases and upcoming activities to promote the use of Copernicus data and services. The target audience includes national decision-makers and users from different sectors such as agriculture and forestry, water management, energy and health.
The goals of the meeting include:
• Integration of climate information into decision-making processes
• Practical demonstrations of the use of C3S data
• Interactive sessions to identify national priorities
• Contributions to future training actions
