Note:

"Severe Weather Information Centre" (SWIC) is an initiative of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), whose central objective is to make available, on a single platform, official information issued by the National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) related to meteorological warnings, monitoring of tropical cyclones and severe weather observations.

The website of this initiative was developed and is maintained by the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO).

The information on tropical cyclones made available is based on the notices issued by the Specialized Regional Meteorological Centers (RMSCs), Tropical Cyclone Alert Centers (TCWCs) and official notices issued by the National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) for their respective countries or regions.

The information presented, related to tropical cyclones, is emitted by the different operational centers so they may differ taking into account the differences in the availability of observational data, availability of the operational centers, numerical models of weather forecast and evaluation of the operational meteorologists.

Visit the official SWIC website through the link: https://severeweather.wmo.int/
